this is brilliant we go nearly every year its great, just make sure you use public transport as parking is a nightmare
  • I hope I can make it.
Absolutely desperate to buy my own house/flat. Living in rented bedrooms for the past 9 years is not fun.

It generally rains down here on those nights or just the weather is so bad you can hardly see the fireworks.

for anyone wanting to do something a little bit special - esp for a 21st, you may still find places on board one of the local boats who anchor out in the Cattewater to watch the fireworks close at hand. (I've been in a very fortunate position to be aboard either the Pilot boat or the harbourmasters tug to see them).Try Sound Cruising Ltd or one of the smaller companies.

I used to be able to watch these fireworks from my balcony (I had a flat on the Barbican). They are really spectacular, I would recommend them to everyone
We must all suffer one of two things: the pain of discipline or the pain of regret and disappointment
  • I'm really lucky my parents have recently bought one of the flats on the Hoe. I will be able to watch from there, with my parents.
  • Plymouth is a great place to live, fireworks a bonus
