Does anyone know of any CD giveaways this weekend? We've had good luck expanding our classical music collection from the papers, but most of them seem to be doing DVDs now.

Have a look in your local charity shops. They are usually full of the giveaway CD's and DVD's. If you have missed any in the past you can probably find them there and most charity shops only ask about 25p for them. My Father in law was in hospital for a while recently and I bought him a big pile of the classical CD's which had been given away and none of them cost more than 25p and they took his mind off things for a while. The DVD's usually crop up regularly too and I now don't bother buying papers just for a free DVD unless it is one I particularly want, I just go to the charity shops a few days later and there is often one there. I think one of the local newsagents must donate all their unsold DVD's and CD's as often there are 7 or 8 copies of some things.
    Cheers and Happy Hunting!

Speak Spanish in a week, disc 1 inside Saturdays Daily Mail (Sat 13th May) disc 2 inside The Mail on Sunday. A total of 8 Linguaphone cds to collect. Redeem at WHSmith or collect the tokens inside the Mail each day.

Redcase not replaced but as I posted on the 7th May. Seemed strange to have DVD and CD inside the same newspaper!

DVD in next Sunday's NEWS OF THE WORLD - 21st May

    "ON THE ROAD TO GERMANY"

    roadtogermany.jpg

"A DVD with great goals & amazing action from all 32 participating nations"

This fantastic DVD includes profiles on each of the 32 participating teams in the FIFA 2006 World Cup and features some of the very best action from the qualification campaigns, including interviews with star players and national coaches.

As well as all this fantastic football action, On The Road To Germany also showcases the cities hosting this year's games and stadia where all the action will be taking place.

Your FREE On The Road To Germany DVD is the ultimate companion for this summer's football extravaganza - don't miss it.

Looks like the DVD WILL NOT actually be in the newspaper itself but is an "instant redeem at participating Tescos"
