Hi all,
I got an email from paypal saying they're holding the transaction from the dodgy buyer. I have put in a claim but it doesn't look good as I stupidly let the buyer just send the money direct to my paypal account (as once I refunded them the first time, they were unable to send it again through ebay). Also the item I sent was an online gift voucher so there's no means of tracking where it was delivered to. So, I've emotionally written off the money and the goods as I suspect the Paypal claim will go in the buyer's favour. This has really put me off ebay for good
anyway, onto happier news. Congratulations MM!:j:beer:

Thanks Amy and CL, glad you had a good time at alton towers Amy-even with your late night!
Cl-what a total pain in the !!!!-suppose if you are mentally prepared for not getting the money it will be a bonus if it is sorted out-hope it is.
been to sainsburys-tried on some clothes-bought nothing! did buy some innocent smoothie, quorn scotch egg for dinner ,some throat sweets, magazines and liqeur choc cherries (in case throat sweets dont work lmao)and some treats for the dog
Spent £13 quid-thats is my celebration.lol
If i get my cheque from the wedding shop though that is mine and will be spent on clothes (if i can find anything)0 -
I wish our Sainsburys did clothes, ours is just a tiny local one... I've bought a few Sainsburys tops and cardigans for cheap off ebay and they've been good quality and I bet they're not particularly expensive, a bit like George prices?
Yay for treating yourself, MM, enjoy your chocs and magazines! Hope your cheque comes soon too. I posted the voucher this morn by the way so it should be with you soon
& that's exactly why I've emotionally written off the money MM... expect the worst and you'll never be disappointed, that's my motto!
The Sun called me earlier to say I've won their Girls Aloud competition, but I have no idea what the prize is. I vaguely remember a comp for a set of Girls Aloud tshirts... and I know I wouldn't have entered for tickets... Hmmm. I'm off to do some detective work!
EDIT: I think it's this one! http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=1172157&highlight=girls+aloudWhat an amazing month I've had as far as comps are concerned... and I've hardly entered anything!

Wd CL on your win, those t-shirts are lovely.
Bummer on the ebay front though. Hope you get your money back.
Go MM. I would love to join you in that challenge but I don;t think I could get anywhere near £210 a month every month. Would be a challenge though and would get me married and then some lol0 -

Nope you should rate it as you think. If you think the review is useful you rate it useful. It has nothing to do with points. Some people are funny.
PS are you sure you rated VU and a U coz you rated one of mine somewhat useful I noticed. I did wonder what you didn;t like about it that everyone else did, but that's the point of an opinion so if you dodn;t like it you say so etc.0
