Thank you jellyhead and purplegirluk1, yes i felt that i was being ganged up on, especially by the tone of the replies.
I returned 3 toothbrushes for a good reason, i will not be going buying 3 more and returning them for my cash bonus. it is not my fault that the tills are incorrect, nor is it not the cashiers fault that she refunded me more than she should have.
Should i go somewhere else tomorrow and be given to much money would i take it 'yes' i most certainly would. But would i abuse a situation NO, i just think that it is luck.
I stated what had happened to me, it is not something that other mse members had not considered doing.0 -
jenpoptab wrote:Hi, just been to Boots in Burys St Edmunds where they have Xmas stock which is showing £4.98 on that stock, however behind it they had the stuff at normal price but still reduced it to £4.98 when i got to till, so again paid only £4.98 for 3 sets, what a bargain, however i've still managed to spend a fortune this weekend even with all of these bargains, just hope i got all the extra points on card when i had in validated receipts when new card turns up. I am curious though as to whether the xmas stock would have come up with same deal though as the bar codes had a cross through them. oh well i'm happy, baby will be bored with all this little me stuff though.
Hi
The xmas stock (the gift sets with xmas stickers on) ARE going through on 3 for 2 at the reduced price!. I plucked up courage to buy the gift sets for the 1st time this weekend, and if had realised that the xmas stock were not always going through I wouldn't have been so brave. They didn't have a cross through there bar codes so maybe thats the key, they also felt sticky where previous reductions stickers had likely been. They were sitting with the rest of the full price stock on the normal baby shelves.
great post charlotte and hurrah for lara, I enjoyed your post about the shoeboxes, got me thinking now..0 -

Picked up 3 sets (1x Aroma Bear 1 x Pamper Me 1 x Bedtime.) and although they were all half price the till didn't multisave. It came up £21.98! One was £7.00(?) and the other 2 were £7.49. I got a refund on the £7.00 but I still paid £15 for the 3 (I also got 500 points and a grooming voucher) Still a bargain but I'm taking them back as I know I won't use them and becuase of that its not very savvy.
I had the same trouble when I went to purchase the aroma bears, the others all went through fine and got the total discount I was expecting, but for some reason the aroma bears wern't deducting more than 3 for 2, so i opted for 3 bedtime sets instead.Nobody can make you feel inferior, without your permission

Thank-you, thank-you, thank-you.
Just found out last night that we will be grandparents for the second time in January 2006. So have been down to Boots to stock up further on the Little Me range! Can't believe this is still working. Also busily using up all my £3 grooming vouchers.
Anyone noticed how boots have taken the magazines out of the cellophane wrappers so that you can no longer obtain the 10% discount coupon?
Am looking to buy a DAB radio at Boots with all our points. However Broughton and Wrexham branches don't stock them. Anyone know anywhere in the North West / North Wales where I can buy these? Such a pity you can't redeem points on line. I was told about a year ago that Boots were working on rectifying this. Anyone know when this likely to happen?
Saved so much on this website. I am so happy and Pompey still in the Premiership too.0 -

Just been down to Boots to buy Mens Grooming products with my £3 voucher. Bought two Trevor Sorbie products at £1.75 each expecting to pay 50 pence with voucher. Amount came up as £2.62. with 0 to pay???!!! Receipt was as follows;
Mlg Vch Red Uk 0.00 X
Ts Mg Uv Moist 0.87
T/Sorbie Apd 50 1.75
Saving £2.62 NOW 0.00
What is going on? There were no obvious promotions on this product in store, although on their website they do have 3 for 2 on some of this range but not these products. What is the first item with an X on it, I did not buy this could I have bought this without paying any extra? Second item is half price. Is this a sort of 3 for 2 or 3 for 1.5? Could I have bought the 3rd item at no extra cost.
I am not complaining these look like really good products and I will use them. But I still have 2 mens grooming vouchers to use. Could I have got more for nothing?
Can anyone unravel this mystery? Its got me (wouldn't be difficult!).

I think the first item is your voucher. Mlg Vch Red Uk = Male grooming voucher redeem or something?
Haven't got a clue why the second item is half price though0 -
