Getting paid in cash is not necessarily a bad thing - shops sometimes do this I believe as well as small businesses where there is a lot of cash coming in as it cuts the cost of issuing wages. As long as the firm is paying is doing it by the book it's fine. If you are earning over about 5000 a year you will need to fill in a tax form and may have to pay some tax.

The best thing we can do is see the SOA and see if we can cut the bills down a bit and advise which debts you should pay off first. The best advice for bills though is shop around.
    Good Luck

Hey thats great your deciding to turn your life around and get stuck into your money issues.

First things first is to start the repayments and keep them going.

Amanda, your credit history is not that bad. The main thing is to get the accounts "Satisfied" so you can then move on and start planning for your future.

Have you applied for alot of credit and been knocked back? Im asking because there are alot of searches of your file. If so stop applying for the period your paying back your debts.

    Good Luck!:D

I just wrote a huge reply and then lost it. Here goes again, briefer this time ;):

    1) Write to Barclays and ask them to clarify C3 as it looks like a satisfied debt that hasn't been marked. As far as I know you would have had to have paid back C3 in order to get defaulted again at C2. Then write to Experian and get it corrected.

    2) Have you paid bank charges on the accounts? You know, over limit, late payment, returned cheque, any of those charges where they charge you £30 to send you a letter that tells you they're charging you £30? If so check out the reclaiming... board here. MAny people have asked that defaults relating to unfair charges be expunged, and we've won! It's a fairly quick solution if it applies to you

    3) Unless anything has changed you have a pretty good plan to pay back the reemaining balance, so no need for further comment unless you want it?!

    4) Have you renewed car insurance etc. or looked for quotes on a comparison website? Those P1-P5 searches are not part of your 'true' credit file - they have no effect on your rating, they are just the paper trail to show an info search has been made. This is just for fraud purposes and doesn't allow them to look at or evaluate your credit info. I believe they may be from confused.com?!

    Hope this helps?!

    2) i have defs paid bank charges, loads of them i do believe, however i cant remeber them as i paid a few i think!!! and i wasent really paying attention, how can i find them out?

    3) current plans ok then?

    4) i have had a few car insurance quotes from travel supermarket?

thanks for the reply, also someone wrote that 8 is very bad against the c2 in a quoted message, how do i improve this, and why is it worse than my credit card score seeing as i have has the most warningds bout that and also the overdraft is paid off!!!
