Don't worry, they have obviously run out of Sonic Heroes, but have substituted the Platinum edition, hence the price hike. :T0 -

I have absolutely no idea, but picked up there was a difference here:

Although just checked on the Tesco website and the platinum has a banner saying 'only the best selling games qualify for platinum'. So I am still none the wiser!0
