very good little gadget, works in the freezer .
batteries are camera type andcan be expensive,
but i bought rechargables and charger from ebay which will save a fortune
it is also on Amazon with free delivery

do you have to keep the bowl in the freezer?0 -
you put the whole thing in the freezer for about 3 hours while it makes your icecream,
then you get the plastic paddle out - otherwise it freezes into the icecream
then you can take the machine out and just leave the icecream in the freezer - but it's best eaten within an hour or two as it gets very hard the longer it stays in there.
Good machine - I bought it in the sale at amazon for about £120 -
aldi have got a delta ice cream maker for £17.99 at the mo. i have this item, it takes a while to get used to but works very well. just keep the bowl frozen (chill up10 18hrs before) and makes ice cream in half hour. ive made a space in my freezer for the bowl so if i ever fancy ice cream i know its ready frozen and just takes half hour. great for the occassional sunny days we have !!Everything in life is a paradox.
