free compost bin

if u r sheffield resident you can get one of these free RRP 29.95
just pop down to nunnery square park and ride on sunday 25 sept
probably be on a first come first serve basis.
however, i did try one of these on free trial before , placed it right at the bottom of the garden , kept lid on, but still had problems with flies.
am tempted, cos this is free but worried about fly problem.
Nice to save.

The flies were probably fruit flies and these aid the breackdown and composting of fruit and veg.

They are not harmful to you and are not like house flies etc

    Lancashire do free bins too!:D

  • Leicester Council are selling the dalek type ones for £5.00. They deliver free too, when they call for the recycling bins!
  • Blackwall on 0113 2018024 are doing big dalek ones for £5 delivered. They also do a smaller and larger one. Now I see it, I've no idea how I'm going to fill it! (But my son thought it was a great tunnel to play in till I got it outside!)
