I went for my shop in Aldi this morning and picked up a pack of mushroom tortelli, I also got some cous cous with soy sauce, sesame & ginger flavour. I thought I would be adventurous and try something different but I haven't got a clue what to have them with. Would I have the both together or with something else. Hope some idea's come my way.
Thanks Andrea

I'd put a cheese or cheese & ham/bacon sauce with the mushroom tortelli and serve with garlic bread and steamed fish (salmon or tuna maybe) and green veg with the cous cous.

I'm with Lillibet about not having them together, (bit heavy on the carbs!).
I'd do the tortelli with a tomato sauce and serve with a herby green salad. As for the cous cous - it would have to be some sort of spicy-stew-type-thingy served on top of the cous cous.
Oooh I love cous cous!♥♥♥ Genius - 1% inspiration and 99% doing what your mother told you. ♥♥♥0 -
I would do the cous cous with a large handful of chopped herbs and garlic, put stock cube in the water. Use to fill either large field mushrooms/peppers/beefsteak tomaotes and cook in oven for about 30 mins.
Tortellini would be nice with a roasted tomato type sauce and garlic bread or salad.I have the mind of a criminal genius. I keep it in the freezer next to Mother....0
