We've been away for the bank holiday weekend and while we were there we went to the beach. BIG MISTAKE .
We had my sisters excited 6 mth old labradore and my two westies in the back of the car. There is now sand all over the seats and the floor of the car and i can't get it out for love nor money. But the best of it is the labradore is moulting and her hairs are sort of stuck in the pile in the velour seats.
I have vacuumed it twice and used one of those sticky rollers which did help but the car is still a mess. loads of sand and loads of dog hairs.
Hubby is going mad and i am really in the dog house we've only had the car two weeks.
I know this may not be true money saving but you would be saving my skin.

I would get a large roll of brown parcel tape and just lift it all off with that0

It might need a professional valet if the tape idea doesn't work.£2 Coins Savings Club 2012 is £4

As for removing dog hair from my car I have loads of experience. I find using a damp cloth and circular movements works really well, or using a clothes brush in circular movements. Oh and a pair of tweezers for the odd stubborn hair which is really entwined in the fabric!0

Not sure about sand - but for the dog hair - put on rubber gloves that have been dampened slightly, you might need a spray bottle with you to keep them slightly damp then rub the area. I do this everyday on the dogs bed and stairs.0

I was going to say the same thing as rosie-marie - rubber washing up gloves, moistened, will lift up the dog hair - I have labradors and this is how I get their hair out of cars!
