Coal/smokeless fuel query??

Evening all
Have recently gone back to an open fire and intend to mostly burn logs but would like to occasionally have a coal fire. When we last had an open fire all the local garages used to sell coal,coke & kindling on the forecourt but when I looked today there was just barbeque charcoal and I hoping that is just because it is still summer. Can anyone please tell me if garages do still sell smallish bags of coal?
ps Is it hot and sticky where you are???

garages up in north Scotland still sell bags of coal but I suspect it depends on demand.

Morrisons/Safways will sell it very soon. We only sell it during the winter months. I presume all the other petrol stations are the same.0
