Some banks will do anything to get the public onside LOL

Maybe they think you will stop encouraging people to ask for their fees back LOL.

Do they somehow think they can bribe Martin with pink beach towels? LOL, did they send the band some too, with "Money saving band" on them? Would only be fair.

Hiya

I have to say - I dont think it was an attempted bribe in anyway. Press offices and jouranlists interact all the time and they're bright people; far too bright to think two towels would make any difference to the angle and stance I take with my work.

I just think it was a nice gesture.

Ultimatately even though often there's a natural opposition - the people behind this still need to talk to each other often.

Well I thought it was sweet. You should post pics of you using your new bright pink towel Martin. Don't get too sunburnt though or you wll clash badly! lol

Or maybe Lloyds are 'throwing the towel in' *groan*
