Schoolboy error - White T-shirts...

Ok, boyf left a wet white t-shirt in a bag in his car, which I have found this evening, and has gone a bit smelly, and a bit stained, kind of yellow marks on it!!

I dont know what to do - I thought of bleaching as they are already white, but what about the musty mouldy smell?

Help?? Im not qualified for this one!!

The smell should go with washing I think, especially if you can dry it outside. That will help with the stains too as the sun will bleach it a bit (if you happen to hit a sunny day!)

I normally recommend using Persil to keep whites white but in this case I would wash the t shirt in Ariel bio automatic powder to remove the stains. In my experience, no other powder works as well as Ariel on stains.;)

Then, remind your bf to be more careful with his clothes. Stuffing them (or sweaty trainers) in a sports bag and leaving them to fester is never a good idea.

For nasty smelling clothes - soak for an hour in a solution of white vinegar and water - then wash normally.
