Mystery Shopping....

HI.

Ive applied to about 5 or 6 different places to do mystery shopping for them and no one has seemed to get back to me on it.

Is anyone who does M.S willing to give me contact details, or if their company runs a referral system would they sign me up.

Ive tried googling and ive tried searching the freebie board but i cant seem to find anything :(

Use advanced search and don't use capitals ie mystery shopping
  • Gapbuster, Retail Eyes, Retail Maxim, Optimum Contact, etc, etc - all these will contact you. I work for about 7 now, thanks to Becles' thread on here, including doing some market research.

If you don't mind me asking, what kind of money is to be made from mystery shopping?

I only work for one company now (through choice) and whilst some weeks I have no jobs, others I have plenty. Last year, when I did my tax return I had made just short of £1000. This is fine for me as I have too much else going on in my life to do more ATM, but don't forget the 'fringe' benefits - travelling and parking paid for, free gifts that you have had to buy which you can sometimes keep. I tend to organise my jobs so that I effectively get paid my mileage for places I wanted to go anywhere :)

In short, I get on average between £5 and £15 per job. I also do phone M.S. jobs for this company (av. £5 per call) which is even easier. As I have been with this company for 2 years now, they will ring me up and offer me jobs on an urgent and higher paid basis as I have proved my reliabilty. I expect to earn over £1k this year. (However, I know that this company is not recruiting any more M.S.ers at the moment, so no point giving your their name as you'll be disappointed.)

https://www.grgresearch.com - they say that you are responsible for paying tax and Ni on it sounds like a load of hassle to me
