Vinegar and laptop screens

Would using vinegar to clean a laptop screen be a match made in heaven, or should I not go there ...?

i always do mine with a barely damp, soft cloth (like a duster). never heard of vinegar. don't know what would happen.

    hope that helps some.

Thanks for replying. Usually I use the little screen cleaners from PC World, but they seem too dry to do a good job. I didn't dare to risk water but as you have used it already, I'll give it a try.
    Thank you

I use vinegar on pc screen, but never tried it on the lap-top. Got an older one here that we don't use.......will give it a go and let you know.

I use micro-fibre cloths that you can buy cheaply in "bargain" type shops (got mine from a Ponden Mill sale).

You don't have to wet them, they make a great job on p.c. screens and windows and you can wash them again and again and don't have to use chemicals.

    MANY THANKS TO ALL OPS
