Can anyone suggest a way of getting all the bits of hair and fluff off clothes. The clothes are washed then dried on the line but when they are dry they have all the bits on them, it is mainly trousers.
Any suggestions? I would be very greatful.
Thanks

Use a few lengths of wide parcel tape, it works every time0

Take a roll of tape - sellotape/parcel tape whatever. Pull it out and wrap it back around the roll so it's sticky side out. Then just roll back and forth (or over and over!) down the material you want to clean. If it gets to clogged up just pull off and do it again! Sorry if instructions aren't clear but I hope you get the idea!0

Post your washer model, someone will be bound to tell you where it is. Ours is a flip panel on the front with an unscrew bit, about 3 inches diameter.;)0

If you get it out and it's full of cr4p, clean it:D0

To avoid as much linting as possible I always wash my towels in a seperate wash and anything brand new I was alone for a couple of times until most of the manufacture lint is washed out. Never wash anything fluffy with polyester items cos the polyester always picks up lint, chenille and velour are beggers for collecting lint as well so I always wash these fabrics inside out. And yes you guessed it...the best thing for removing lint in the final rinse it.....dah dah VINEGAR:DLife's a beach! Take your shoes off and feel the sand between your toes.0

Try to place a bowl or a tray underneath the washing machine filter area before you remove it. It will help to catch the water which will spill out.......even though the machine is turned off and empty.
The washing machine filter should be checked (and cleared of fabric/fluff) regularly. Put a reminder on your calendar so you remember to check the filter at regular intervals.10 Dec 2007 - Led Zeppelin - I was there. :j [/COLOR]:cool2: I wear my 50 (gold/red/white) blood donations pin badge with pride. Try washing trousers inside out with a vinegar rinse and if you still get the problem wind any type of sticky tape around your hand and then dab furiously at material."This site is addictive!"
