I've just received an e-mail from http://www.e-dunning.com/ who want me to pay £143.84 within the next 5 days. I'm not in any position to pay this as I only have about £15 in my bank account, currently on JSA and I don't receive my next payment until next Thursday, which still would not cover the £143.84
Is there anything I can do, or am I ****ed?

Not a lot of info there dude!!!
Have you tried speaking to them and explaining your situation?0 -
Well for a start I wouldn't trust anyone trying to collect a debt via email..... seems rather dodgy to me. Personally I would delete the email and see if anything turns up in the post.Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

Firstly, don't panic. If you don't physically have the money then they can't have it.
What's it for? Have you tried calling them and offering weekly/monthly payments at a rate you can afford?
I would advise you to cobtact one of the free debt charities such as CCCS or Payplan for advice.
Best of luck,

Disregard my post, the e-mail was fake (thankfully)0

Fake?? In what way? Were they asking you to pay something online (ie phishing) or asking for money you don't owe?

Dear Customer,
We have been specifically appointed by Cable&Wireless to act on their behalf in respect of your Bulldog services.
Please open this secure link (by clicking here) to view details of your account (link removed for obvious reasons)
Yours faithfully,
D1
The link said:
We act for Cable&Wireless Access in respect of your Bulldog Services, which ran until 12/12/2005 .
Bulldog provided you with a Broadband Service for which you have failed to pay the sum of GBP 143.84.
We are instructed to issue legal proceedings to recover the full amount of your outstanding debt unless we receive your payment within five days.
Should legal proceedings prove necessary we will make an application for additional court fees and interest charges to be added to the amount claimed.
This was the letter I received, I beleived it because it contained my full name and address, and I left Bulldog in 2005. But if I change parts of the link, I get other people's details. It's a complete scam and nothing more, and now mine and other people's details are available to the internet

How do you know this was fake. I just received one but with an outstanding amount of £2.07. How do you know this email was fake? I'm freaking out about this legal action stuff.0 -
If you paid all your bills I'd let them take it to court. See also http://www.my-bulldog-hell.co.uk/0
