Stain removal

Toronto

Hope someone out there can help me. Daughter has got fake tan stains all over a lovely white cotton top (not spilled on it but rubbed off her skin). Washed as normal before I noticed stains and then soaked in biological washing powder but still as bad. Any advice greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Try soaking it in a mild bleach solution or wash with Ace or Oxiclean. Good luck.0

I got some paint which we were using on the door on a shirt of mine and it came off after a good rub with some white spirit... might be best to patch test though, my shirt is fine but I wasn't too worried about it spoiling as it has had a good inning!
As for the fake tan... sorry no new ideas but definitely the oxiclean already mentioned works a treat on most of the mess I cause to my clothesoooh look only about 220 posts and I got round to doing my Avatar already!!0 -

shirt rescuedNice to save.0 -
I swear by an overnight soak in a Biotex solution - this seems to work even on stains that have been through the wash, ironed etc. I have tried lots of other stain removers (yes, all the Old Style things, too  ) but always end up coming back to Biotex.
Can I be in the ad, now(Just kidding! I really do like the stuff.)
