this is probably the best visual illusion i've ever seen.
below is a figure of a woman spinning.
to some of you, she is spinning counter-clockwise.
to others she is spinning clockwise.
your mind's perception of which direction she is spinning is guided by the dominant hemisphere of your brain.
right-brain people see clockwise
left-brain people see counter-clockwise.
which one do you see?
and if you focus, you can make her change direction! try it.

Get two or three people or friends to look at the image at the same time and ask them which direction she is spinning when they look at the screen ?.
I thought it was a trick also but it isn't.
Have tried this loads of times and everyone sees the image in a different direction at the same time.
Can you make her spin both ways ?
Yes some of us can and some can not.Are U getting enough Vitamin D in your life!?0 -
She's spinning anticlockwise for me, and I still can't see her spinning clockwise even though I've made my head go all funny trying.0

Took me two days of screaming at the screen and accusing people who could see her going anticlockwise of lying. After reading loads of tips on the internet, I can now switch between the two at will. The relief was tremendous. My best technique is to focus on the lower straight leg, and force yourself to imagine the sweeping leg as either going infront or behind the straight leg, depending on what you want to see. Then let yourself look at the rest of her fully and she will be going whichever way. It's fab.
But I still can't do Magic Eye...0 -
Right brain says I should have 'spacial perception' ... something has gone wrong there! xGone ... or have I?0

Right brained for me.
I can't seem to get her to spin the other way, despite how hard I concentrate on her various bodyparts:rotfl: It's better to live 1 year as a tiger than a lifetime as a worm...but then, whoever heard of a wormskin rug!!!:rotfl:0
