Burnt the dinner ?????

If you burn something and set off the smoke detectors, vinegar soaked onto a towel and twirled around a room will quickly stop the smoke detectors from screaming. It also freshens the air, and captures the smoke smell before the whole house is is invaded

    lol

I get the idea of it taking away the smell but if it's soaked in vinegar I certainly wouldn't want vinegar splashed all over my newly painted walls..................so I'll stick to the spray bottle ....................much easier to direct :)
And waft the smoke alarm with a cushion to stop it ::)

you need one with a mist spray, or else everything gets soaked.

if you mix small amount of fabric softner with water in one, works but like febreeze.
