Xbox Live 12 -month subscription, game, and headset for £20

ASDA's currently selling Xbox Live starter kits for around £20 in-store. They're the kits which were released for the original xbox, not the 360, so the game's fairly old, but the subscription code is still valid for current Live subscription, which currently retails at £34.99 alone.
So, in the box you get a 12-month subscription to the Xbox Live internet gaming service, Project Gotham Racing 2 (an xbox racing game which can be played online), and a communicator headset which plugs into the Xbox 360 (or original xbox) controller and allows you to chat to friends over the net whilst playing.
Stock is limited, but if you hunt around a bit you should find one. If this is all you want from the shop, phone ahead before making the trip. If you still can't find one, try your local blockbuster video store, as some are also selling these kits cheaply.

I found 2 in Curry's which sell them for £4.97 and now have Gold membership till 2009, all for less then a tenner. :j
I quite often pop into Currys, Comet, Blockbuster, Currys digital, and none of them appear to have ever heard of this? Can it be purchased on-line, did a search, but couldn't locate it?0 -

It's really hit or miss to finding these at Currys.
The ones i found were not on display, but in the game cabinet behind the till - so may be worth asking if you can't see them.
Unfortunatley i've exhausted my local stores trying to find more.
You can't order online or reserve to collect - but here's the link as proof of the price http://www.currys.co.uk/product.php?sku=225861 and the sku so you can check instores.0 -
thanks for that0
