how to clean a child's buggy?

Have a relatively new buggy (bought last year) but it spends most of its time folded up in the boot. When I took it out yesterday, its all mildew-y and horrible and couldn't use it. How will I clean it and what with?

How about some oxyclean? Or a very mild bleach solution?

Sorry I can't be more help.

Stand it in the garden, scrub it with washing liquid then rinse with the hosepipe :)

same thing happened to my buggy, think someone recommended milk to me, but was too far gone and ended up having to buy new hood (was 3 wheeler). Tends to happen if you've taken it out in rain and folded it up when wet. So now I always wipe dry with towel.

Have cleaned my buggy in the garden as well, havn't got a hose so got a bowl of hot soapy water and scrubbed! Did the same as 160, left it outside to air all day then brought it inside to finish drying at night.

He does love this site tho'. Never visits himself but very grateful for the bounty that has come his way since I discovered it! ;D A bit of scrubbing is a small price.....
