Paid on-line surveys

Has anyone any advice on whether or not to become involved in on-line surveys, where you can earn cash (so I'm told) and vouchers

Hi,
I recently tried the survey taking malarkey, wrote a blog, had some fun, did too many surveys, got bored, deleted my blog, stopped doing the surveys and got a life.
However, I was making around £50-100 a month (you can make more if you get referrals from a website). Some people who have good websites which cover legit survey sites are:
www.surveycritic.com
www.surveystar.blogsource.com
www.katieshugs.com
All American, but genuine in their intentions to give good information. They list UK sites as well as others. The ones I joined are listed below. Sorry for the long list. I have marked with an asterisk the ones that I found to be the best i.e. sent surveys/paid cash or vouchers/paid up on time. Of course, what works for one person may well not work for another. If you want consumer reviews of sites, then go to www.surveypolice.com. Number one is Pinecone, however they are hard to get into and you cannot just go to their website. You have to find a banner somewhere on the web. Sorry I can't help you more on that one.
My survey tips for starters pretty much hold true to this day:

Don't know if I said get a PayPal account and a separate email address, but they're probably the top two tips. You can also check out some of my other posts e.g.

One note: people generally get a bit too hung up on not getting their money or getting disqualified from surveys after answering a lot of questions. Be prepared that this might happen, but also realize that it's not the end of the world and get on with it. Surveys pay around £4-5 an hour for 1-2 hours a day, maybe a little more if you're lucky, but not enough to live on. They can also get quite repetitive - having said that, they can also be a lot of fun and extremely interesting.
Right, the long list:

Anyway, good luck. Stick at it and it might just pay off. I got about 10 a day and qualified for about half having signed up for all of them. Hardly any spam whatsoever which was amazing. The initial form filling takes a long time though, but make sure you keep your profiles up to date so you get as many surveys as possible. Also answer the surveys asap, as the best ones do get filled quickly.
So much to tell you, and so little patience!!!
Ciao.

Indeed there are links in the referrals section...I was simply trying to be helpful by putting all the sites in one place. However, for those who feel oppressed by my going over their heads, here are "links to most of" the market research site referral threads. Or should I say eight of them, out of the 48 listed. If there are a few others, they are PM links, which I believe is not allowed. The reason why there aren't more referral links is because most of the best sites limit referral bonuses which means you have to physically send an email to your friend rather than post a referral link. Otherwise it's open to abuse and spamming. Here's the MSE survey referral hall of fame (Poppycat polices these like a hawk - just try starting a new one...):

from the rules
REFERRAL POSTS
Posts from which site users gain are permitted only on the Referrers Board. This includes links to rpoints etc threads. Any posted elsewhere will be moved to the Referrers Board. Links to the referrals board from the main forums are not allowed.
This also includes members saying "Please PM me for code" or "check my post on referrers". The overriding rule is that no advertising is allowed on the main forums

None of these are my referral posts - I don't care about them. I'll delete them if you like. I was just pointing out that there are not that many referral links.

you have started 2 threads at least around the forum on this same subject, the other one I have found I have just reported for multiple referral id's by other people and your direct linking to posts/threads on referrals
I have also asked abuse to look at this oneEx forum ambassador

Anyway, off topic - 10000 posts in 2.5 years? That's 10/11 posts a day. Are you in IT?0

it's called FREE HELP to other people, thats why my post count is so high, rather than trying to make a quick buck out of the forumEx forum ambassador

Trust me, there's nowt for personal gain. I'm just trying to be helpful.
My apologies. The other two links are because I have had decent discussions on those threads and since I had taken the time to finally create the big list of surveys, I thought I'd spread the word. I don't think you're being particularly fair.
Oh well. Do what you like.0
