Buy 4 Mars ice-creams get 12 free!

in Shop but don't drop
In My local Somerfield they have 4 pack mars icecreams (Snickers, Galaxy, Mars etc) on BOGOF

I yesterday visited my local Asda (Havant) and noticed they had these 4 pack's with 100% extra free.

If you take along a somerfield deals leaflet, then they should give you BOGOF on these 100% extra free packs. Therefore getting 12 extra free icecreams!

edit: p.s. the somerfield deal runs out on the 14 June, and i doubt asda will honour it if the leaflet is out of date.

    Ok, so in Somerfield you'd be getting 2 X 4 ice-creams.

    But if Asda are giving you 4 free with each box, then you end up with 16 ice-creams in total.

    16 (Asda) minus 8 (Somerfield), is 8 free ice-creams.

    hammodt - My local one is Hayling Island, although the offer is a national one as it is displayed on their website

    Dont think Asda would match as you are not comparing like with like, eg Somerfield 4 pk vs Asda 6 pk

    Eh?

    You're paying for a 4-pack in Asda, which comes with 4 extra free inside the box.

    The Somerfield price match means they will give you a second box for free, which will also contain the 4+4.

    Therefore you have paid for a 4 pack of ice-creams, but have received 16, so it's 12 free surely?!

    Good question, although it would still have the same product code wouldn't it, since it is still the 4-pack of ice creams, just with 4 extra free.
