ipoints rewards

Hope someone can help. Went to the MSE loyaltychecker page and was advised that my 5000+ ipoints would be worth about £200. However, when going to the ipoints site and trying to spend my points it seems I'd be lucky to get hold of a dvd for my points.
How can i get the above cash or is this now out of date and the rules have changed again? Hope someone can help as I seem to now be out of options.
Thanks.

You can only redeem them against what is currently offered on the ipoints website. They revise the amount of points it costs per item quite often (i.e put the points totals up!). I'd say the MSE checker is rather out of date!0

5000 points might have been worth £300 once, but earlier this year Ipoints revised the value - so, for some things you now get more points, but they are worth less (similar thing to that which Sainsburys did on their pre-Nectar card scheme)
If you look on the rewards list you can see some interesting stuff - I have my eye on the "Life on Mars" season 1 box set, from which I am only 50 or so points away (with some points yet to be credited!)0 -
a good spot actually, i will go post in site feedback to flag the issue :Tknow thyselfNid wy'n gofyn bywyd moethus...0

Yes they added a 0 to everyones balance but also added a 0 to every item avaliable to purchase. Plus items that used to be 1 ipoint (10 points under this new system) such as voting are 5 ipoints now (0.5 under old system). It was just the ideal way for them devalue stuff that was just too expensive for them 10p is just so much compared to 1p. Some quick clicks are made to even 1/2 ipoints at times. 0.1 ipoint in reality
I think the loyalty checker must be out of date.

I just cashed in 2100 points for a £10 101CD.com voucher & bought my DD High School Musical DVD with it, couldn't find anything better to save for HTH2025 - finally back comping after a stressful house move - send me fairy dust please0

I had a quick rummage through the available offers and you can get a £30 voucher for Boots, Amazon, Woolies etc for 8300 points - but there doesn't seem to be an logical points/pound relationship otherwise.
Au Res.,

You can just type in the name of books you are interested in in the reward section and it will search.I had one delivered recently and it came from amazon so i imagine if it is on the amazon site and within the point limit, you could order it.The delivery comes within the points too.0
