the kids are starting to build a bonfire here ready for guy fawkes a bit early but they always do and end up with a biggy on the night
so weve taken all our old junk up garden table rotted, chair the same, loads of old wood
bags and bags of logs from when I killed the tree ;D
my old bed
and an arm chair i was going to reupholster but cant get round to it
all out of the way and nobody minds ;D ;D ;D

Burning upholstered furniture, matresses etc. could release toxic fumes which could be illegal, as could causing a nuisance with smoke.
But if you're just burning wood and not causing a nuisance, then go ahead. Just don't throw petrol on the fire unless you fancy some very nasty burns.student100 hasn't been a student since 2007...0 -
I wont be anywhere near the fire, thats for the kids and their supervisors.
as for the fumes its in the open air.
kids stand well well back from it
there are already lots of old chairs matrasses etc on it.
always that bonfire is insptected by the fire master here and the fire brigade keep a check on it all night
so Ill leave all that to them0
