Shoe Polish

When i was opening the tin i broke the thing of the side that you need to turn to open it, now i cant open it. Any ideas what i can do to get it open?

Also is there anything i can use to clean my black shoes if i cant open it?

    a little furniture polish sprayed onto a duster and rubbed over shoes will work icon7.gif

    Prise it open with a blunt knife but mind your fingers ;)

    For really REALLY shiny shoes use cotton wool with a touch of water on to rub the polish on your shoes and keep rubbing in tiny circles until they shine (don't change the cotton wool and don't turn it over, just use the same bit) p.s. it takes ages but they really will shine :)
