Mollies bottle have now given us 7 months service and are sterrilized in a steam one. Although they are washed properly as well they are starting to look a bit greyish. Does anyone please have any tips for giving them a new lease of life please?
To let you all know as well. My biscuits were brilliant and have now been made with hubby decoarting them with melted choc and nuts. I saved £22 last week by using coupons. Plus got my Pepsi for 22p a bottle from Asda with price match. Something I was wondering is would anyone please know which supermarkets produce leaflets with their offers on? I know Kwik save do. Im hoping to do a lot more price match. I live in Leicester so I have plenty of choice. I do go inot town so I thought id pick up the leaflets when im shopping and just get them all from Asda (bagging their extras when it 2 for £2 etc) and while using my £5 off of £50 from Farmfoods. I really did do my shopping for free last week (£22 off of my monthy aim)
Dont I ask a lot of questions im sorry. Im freezing as all my windows are open after my earlier mistake with vinegar (see my other thread)
Thanks Allie and baby Mollie

Hi Sarah
Ive read that you have your chickens. Id love some but sadly havent the space for them. Sadly we havent a dishwasher. I know your from near me. Can you reccomend any bargain shops, either in the city centre or general leicester area. I was looking for a Farm shop but I dont think the 2 of us plus Mollie could eat a whole sack of spuds before they go off so to speak. I cant wait for primark to open where Alders was2007 is my getting slim year

It sounds to me like the bottles have gone dull from scratching - baby bottles get a lot of scrubbing and the plastic is soft.
I had to replace a few bottles when the measurements got scrubbed off the side, apart from that I just put up with them being a bit tatty looking.
Some time in the next few months you can start weaning her on to a cup so perhaps you can manage without new bottles.0 -
babies can use a cup from 6 months old if not younger, so as has been said you may not need more. moneysaving round our way?
