Not sure if this is the right forum, but I thought it might be nice to have a list of farmer's markets and (genuine!) farm shops selling local produce:
Here are two in my area
Congleton
Location: The Bridestones Centre (next to Safeway)
Town: Congleton
1st & 3rd Tuesday Monthly
9:00 am to 4:00 pm
Nantwich Farmers' Market
Held in Nantwich Town Square on the last Saturday of each month from 9.00am-3.00pm.
Actually, I live in North Staffordshire, but I haven't been able to find any here, yet, though I am sure there must be some.
Anyone else?

I'm a retired employment solicitor. Hopefully some of my comments might be useful, but they are only my opinion and not intended as legal advice.

For those of you in the right area, and because it's not on the list, Clitheroe has a farmer's market too. A few stallholders go to the open air market on tuesdays but in the main they are to be found at the Auction Mart, every 2nd sunday I'm told. Not been for a while, but when I did go last, I bought very nice cheese, sausages and veggies. Lovely meat too.0

There's one in Burslem town centre on Friday 22nd April
Oh, and if you're interested a continental market in Hanley on about 5/6th May tooSometimes it's important to work for that pot of gold...But other times it's essential to take time off and to make sure that your most important decision in the day simply consists of choosing which color to slide down on the rainbow...0
