Help I've recently bought an all cotton Rugby League shirt like I used to play in when I was a kid and I'm worried that the colours will run(white shirt with Red V) I have memories of lots of my fellow players as a kid turning up with pink and red shirts.
Can anyone help? I want to make sure the white stays white but not get the running that a hot wash can do.
Cheers

Have you worn it yet? If not, put it in the machine on a cold wash with about a pound of salt, that will fasten the colour in.Organised people are just too lazy to look for things

Ooooooooh it's not a St Helens top is it?
I have a Cotton great Britain shirt that I wash at 40 and it's ok, but I also have an Accy Stanley red and white that I always wash on either a handwash or just a cold cycle.
If worried I would handwash first in cold water with salt.0 -
