Can you do this in a slow cooker?

I have just bought a slow cooker (6.6 LTR) and i am trying to find out different ways that i can use it.
If i have frozen a curry sauce(no meat),could i place the foil container into the slow cooker, and reheat it throughout the day?
Would i have to defrost it first? and add a bit of water in the crockpot?
Could i even add a container of rice to reheat it at the same time?
If anybody could answer these questions,i would be most grateful.

Wouldn't you just be better off doing it in the microwave or leaving it to defrost in the fridge overnight?
Just to add ... I'd be very wary of using such a slow process to re-heat pre-cooked food, especially rice, as bacteria will just multiply. It needs to be re-heated quickly (i.e. microwave) until piping hot."An Ye Harm None, Do What Ye Will"

O.K,thanks.
I forgot about reheating rice was a bit dodgy! as for the curry,i was hopeing i could pop it in the slow cooker when i came home from work at 6.00am,then there would be a meal available straight away when my wife came home at 6.00pm...i sometimes have to go back to bed as i work permanent nights.
It was just an idea to save me some time if i was very tired.Sponsored by Tesco Clubcard Points !!0
