Canon PowerShot A400 only £74.43 at Tesco

Tesco instore are selling the Canon PowerShot A400 digicam for only £74.43, down from their "normal" price of £136 ish. Looked in Jessops today and their price is £129.99.

The cheapest I can find online is £89 + £3.95 delivery from 7dayshop.

A very good price for a Canon 3.3 MP digicam with a 2.2x OPTICAL zoom.

Its a special offer and my local Tesco only had one left, which was the display model, so be quick if you want one !

PS. This was a Tesco Extra store so they may not be available in all Tesco branches.

My daughter went in to Tesco in Doncaster yesterday and they had them for £139, they were not aware of any special offers at all on this camera.

Well, my local Tesco Extra had another one on display yesterday afternoon at £74.43.

The yellow (reduced) price label said that this was a special offer until some time in March (can't remember the exact date)

I tired our local Tesco Extra and they have the A400 at £139. If there is a national offer etc then I could ask them to see if they had forgotten to apply the discount?

Is there a number to call to check foo in store offers, the customer services people said the offers on cameras had finished

I really wanted to get this for my Mum for Mother's day and at that price, I could get extra memory and a case!

Tesco in Doncaster rang around the other local stores for my daughter, to see if they could find details of the offer, but no luck! They must just have regional offers??? She has been after a camera for ages, and still is!!! I did see it on 7dayshop.com I think for £89 + p&p, but that is not £74.43, a big difference when you have to watch every penny.

This is ok I got one at Xmas, they are local for me so no P&P. But the Canon is better.
