15 cans of stella for £5.50 in sainsburys

My thanks to both - just picked up (the last) 3 packs in Derby.

Additional information which may help others find some.

These £5.50 packs are for the 5% strength Stella (15 x 440ml)

The 15 x 440ml at 4% are £14.92

You can get Customer Service to do a search for them on their computer system - just make sure you are looking at the right one.

Furthermore the CORRECT one may actually show £11 on the computer screen with the price change to this amount being logged as TODAY- 31/03/10 - as it did for me ......

... but if you do .... they had 20 cases less than a mile away :j

The Wyvern store didn't have any - not sure it was a stocked item - they have the expensive 4% pack and various other can/bottle combinations for the 5%.
Anyway got them to do a search, found some in Westfield - said £11 on Wyvern's screen but when I got there SEL had WAS £11 now £5.50 - and it was

Other "local" stores had some - I seem to remember a 24, a 48 and a 60 cases to name but 3.
BEESTON I think was the 48

Definitely worth checking

AND IF YOU MISS OUT - there is ANOTHER (NOT quite so good) offer to keep an eye out for - Sainsbury's Westfield had a least 10 packs a couple of hours ago.

EIGHTEEN HALF PINTS for £7.50

That's 18 x 284ml BOTTLES of 5% Stella - Just £7.50

still a great deal I think - should be £15 I understand :eek:

arghh sorry for delay, have only just come back on the forum. I am near Epsom in Surrey and I went to the sainsburys in kiln lane. HTH. Like I said, I don't know how quickly it will fly off the shelves there because it's still advertised as costing a lot more ( even as a sale price IYKWIM)

Had to go back to Sainsburys to get something for work and picked up another 7 cases.

Then went back and got another 6.

Its our daughters christening in June so thats the beer paid for.

Not normally this greedy with offers but this was a nobrainer - 2 massive pallets still there in Lakeside. :T
