Vegan/Vegitarian bargains

Options
My daughter is a vegan and has been for several years which means for many stores a chance to profit from a niche market, but for all us financially challenged this makes life a tad difficult with the old budget so I felt it was time to share a few of my finds here,

Lidls do Ketchup approx 99pm Kania 0 500ml
also they do chocolate biscuits about 59p
instant noodles 19p kingu spicy prawn, bbq beef and curry flavor are vegan friendly.

more to follow and please add your tips etc here.
I am responsible me, myself and I alone I am not the keeper others thoughts and words.

suprised you find it diffciult on your budget. Good vegetables cost less than meat and fish. Plus easier to cook with, more filling and some vegetables can last several meals.

Lidl usually have good discount vegetables!

Farm foods are doing quorn stuff at really good prices :)
    Feb GC: £200 Spent: £190.79
  • Quorn isn't vegan, unfortunately. Farmfoods and Iceland often have Linda McCartney foods reasonably priced (though not all of their products are vegan friendly).

I am vegan and find the Co-op is great for vegan friendly toiletries, alcohol and doughnuts. Got to get your priorities right. ;)

    Aldi -
Apro Soya milk 79p a carton.
    Moser Roth 70% & 85 & chocolate vegan ( & yummy)
Basmati rice is also a good price.

May I suggest visiting your local chinese and indian shops for some good bargains.
I went to the chinese supermarket the other day and got huge portions of tofu ( soft and firm ) for £2 each. Brilliant bargain compared to cauldrons.
Also really cheap sauces , coconut milk and 50 veggie rolls for £2 !!

I got mock duck in the local chinese super market for £1.30, i think its over £2 in Holland and Barrett.
Debt free since July 2013! Woo hoo! The bank actually laughed when I said I have come in to cancel my overdraft.
