First Great Western offer this discount. They don't charge any booking/delivery fees and can book for any train company's trains: http://www.buytickets.firstgreatwestern.co.uk/advancedsearch.aspx?Command=AdvancedSearchValidatorCommand
Select New Deal from the Railcard section.
26th Feb is probably because you need to wait for delivery, unless you choose to collect from a station.0 -
Also, if you aren't buying advance tickets, then you can buy your ticket at the station on the day for the same price.0

If you like the style of the Southern booking site, then try using London Midland trains.
Their booking process is similar, just different colours, and it does include the New Deal railcard.
You can arrange to pick up the tickets at any machine... even Brighton.0 -
got through to someone who 'knew'- supposedly, weekly tickets cant be booked then picked up from thre quicjpoints, only posted- hence a lead in time..
the guy suggested i visit my nearest station, where you can use your (my)discount card.. no mention of conessions offered to other folks (airport workers, students etc)
so much for the net making things easier?!Long time away from MSE, been dealing real life stuff..
