top tip- give them more pocket money, then have them buy their own! If they use your stuff, stop the pocket money for that week. Teaches finance and respect for other peoples stuff.

Am sure a trip to Boots will help- but fact is, unless she is sure it works as well as yours, she will continue to use yours and either lose/forget/use up her own, I'd have a sit down chat with her to let her know where the rules lie too maybe!

ps, excessive shampoo and conditioner can cause hair to be over-processed/stripped and dry or overloaded and lank/greasy, if shes using too much product and getting the right results, she may need a different product for her hair type. And if its appearing overloaded with product, a deep cleansing shampoo may help once a week. Don't use a deep cleansing shampoo every day as it will dry out hair (unless its a bad version of one and not cleansing enough!) A cheap leave in conditioner spray can be made with a little conditioner mixed with water and in a spray bottle. But always use a drier if you do this or haor will frizz up easily due to the hard water content.

Why not try the rag roll thing? You know, making hair curling using jay clothes or such? Sorry im not too good at explaining it.

You tube will also give loads of tutorial videos on different hair styles and show how to do them.

A (very expensive) option is a pair of good quality straightners such as ghds, this means she can curl her hair or straighten it with pro results. Alternatively maybe she would want another hair style. A consultation with a hair dresser may help. This doesn;t need to be expensive, local colleges are always looking for models. In fact I am looking to book in myself. £8 for for a cut and blowdry compared to my usual £21.
