Stupid forum just deleted my post  anyway, it went something like this:

    Hi Katy

Not too sure whether everyone does this or it is just me, but I have a basic list in word and just edit it each day and copy it onto MSE

If the gremlins do strike, I can open up word and just re-post

Candy, that's a really good idea. Not sure if it would work from home because we don't have word but I could do it from work during the week. Thanks!

Have changed my mind about dinner...going to go for a fish finger sandwich...mmm drool ;) xx

Hi everyone - I've had a frugal couple of days, NSD yesterday and today I have just bought bread, milk and stuck some diesel in the car (which was budgetted for).

    Today I:
    1) SC 2 x 10p
    2) Survey
    3) Sent an earnings enquiry to Quidco. No £4.50 for my Body Shop card - grr.
    4) Took board games to my Mum's to keep the kids entertained indoors. The weather scuppered our plans.
    5) Made leek and potato soup for tea to use up manky veg.
    6) Had a lazy time reading my library book. The new one by Audrey Niffenegger Time Traveller's Wife.
    7) Picked up the free Somerfirld magazine and cut out some recipes. This was the last edition - I shall miss it as there was always something new to try out.

Looking forward to tomorrow - we are going to a free screening of Nativity!

    Have a good evening, L x
  • Hello everyone
Busy day here as we have visitors. Not very DFW either I'm afraid but have at least done shopping from list so I know what I'm cooking and eating for the next week!
    Belle
    Getting there...slowly! :D

    GC : must do better
    NSD: very rare

No matter how slow I go I am lapping everyone on the couch.

    Evening all :j

Horrible weather today, pouring rain and gales all day

Done the usual things, seen to animals and checked online banking

Not terribly moneysaving as I went shopping and bought some bits for the freezer (which is/ was emptying out quite nicely :A)

Used some Boots vouchers towards some posh moisturiser

Also had to tax OH's landrover

Cooked a roast beef dinner from a piece of beef I found forgotten in the bottom of the freezer, with yorkshire puddings, roast potatoes, carrots and broad beans as OH has a guest staying this weekend.

Made some pumpkin soup from one of the refugees from the garden that glare up at me every day from the kitchen dresser. Everyone seems to have made soup today!

Not done much else - Saturday is my lazy day, and OH was out all day with his friend, so had the house to myself (bliss)

    Have a nice evening everyone!

    Morning everyone,

The sun is shining here today, I'm quite surprised after yesterday's doom and gloom. Just watched the new doctor who from last week as well, was brilliant!

    List for today:
    • Check banking
    • Breakfast and lunch from stores
    • Dinner at parent's house
    • NSD
    • Go for a run (or try to anyway)
    • Hoover and dust house
    • No heating on during the day
    • Start organising wardrobe
    • Cook soup, pasties, veg bake and chilli for food this week
That's it for me, going to finish my cup of tea before I start though!

Hugs and waves to everyone xx

Two items selling on ebay today, looking at raising around £10 :)

In less cheerful new, today I must write for an extension to my university project deadline (due to personal circumstances). I've been procrastinating about doing it (I don't want to write to random people about my life), and I really need to. I can persuade myself it belongs here as if I did not get the extension I would have to pay to do the module again. Perhaps I should come here and post when I've done it?
