I need a shed load of chocolate.

I need loads of chocolate. It needs to be foil wrapped (or in non branded wrapper) and I need thousands of bars which will hopefully be around 75-100g.

Are you a member of any organisations or self employed ? If so you should be able to apply for cards for places like Macro, Bookers, Costco and the likes where you will be able to find the sort of thing you want at a fraction of the price.

lidl and aldi both do chocolate bars that are wrapped in silver foil inside a box, think they are about 50p a bar

however i think ive read that some people have had trouble using branded chocolate, when they personalise it by changing the wrapper

also, being a foodstuff, i dont know where you stand with labelling ingredients, etc.

i think 2 finger kitkats are popular for making personalised chocbars, as they are arent too big/small, and can easily be wrapped - but tbh for the quantities you are quoting, its gonna be alot of work - how cool is your premises too, as you wouldnt want them to melt

check out ebay as there are lots of people on there that already do personalised choc bars - it might even work out cheaper/less time consuming for you to sub-contract

Speak to chocolate companies, get quotes to have your own bars made.

Do it this way and you have a consistent/repeatable way to offer this as a service to your existing/new customers from now on too.

If you buy existing bars, they might be "recognised" for where you sourced them from, which might create a negative feel about the product you're offering. Or, offer them two prices: the skimped way and the bespoke way, at least that way THEY are choosing for you to source your chocolate from ready-made bars.
