formal complaint.

a couple of weeks ago i posted that i had lodged a formal complaint to my pension provider.
and either edinvestor or dunstonh answered it. I cant find the post unfortunately.

Anyway, i have eventually got my pension sorted out after many mistakes by the pension company and the formal complaint has not been sorted out.
I am told by my pension provider that i may get compensation of £50, as i have lost at least 6 weeks pension because of delaying tactics and errors this really is not acceptable.
In my previous post one of the answers that if a formal complaint is
made then they have to pay £500. They have to pay £500 to who, to me or to some legal body.
any help appreciated.

The fee is charged if you complain to the FOS. The FOS keep the money. Not you.

£50 is not a lot. £250 seems far more common nowadays. Push for that.
