5% discount at Amazon

Well, finally, a discount of sorts at amazon.
The NUS extra card is being launched on Monday. It costs £10, and provides a host of discounts, including 5% on most stuff at Amazon.co.uk. More info on the NUS extra website. Once you have bought your card, you are sent a personalised code for the amazon discount.
This card is only available to students who are members of the NUS (virtually anyone at college or university). It is valid for a year.
Please say 'thanks' if this saves you some cash!

Unfortuately this doesn't apply for people in 6th form who need a NUS Associate Card. There website says they are still negotiating the discounts and they will be released in september. I hope they manage to get the Amazon discount for Associates to.0

As long as one discount code leaks out, then everyone can use it...unless there are limitations to how many times each one can be used etc.0

Shouldn't this be on the student saving board?"An eye for an eye leaves the whole world blind" - Mahatma Gandhi0

Using a student discount card bought of ebay (if you are not a student) is presumably fraud.Midas.0 -

Forgot to post the website before, it is http://www.nusextra.co.uk/
Amazon discount is restricted to a maximum spend of £1500, so this wouldn't really work. Perhaps a possibility for a couple of people to share one though.Midas.0 -
These are now available to purchase on the website.Midas.0
