I need the best ever vacuum cleaner??

My inherited dyson cylinder type vacuum is dying- what should i replace it with? I have 2 short haired cats and 3 children so it needs to be pretty robust and not too heavy due to my dodgy hand! any thoughts or recomendations please? Thank you

Im sure you will get lots of replies here, Ive got the Miele cat and dog vac but think It's about 7 or 8kg? Not sure how that compares to the Dyson?

I know people who have got one of the Henry range and love them - lots of reviews on Amazon.

I got our Miele from John Lewis and got an extended guarentee and Miele send me 5 bags a year and filters which is good. When we had a dog it got up all the fur and is good at getting up the rabbit fur when hes inside!

My mum's got a dodgy shoulder and the Dyson DC04 became too heavy, replaced it with a Dyson ball, less than half the weight and she loves it. I've also heard great things about the Henry too.

Totally agree with this. Very lightweight & great suction, had ours for 10yrs still going strong.
