My case is with the criminal compliance team now, my case worker knows about his house and car and is in agreement with me but as there is no way to prove it apparently they cant do anything!
Asked advice on here already and I am working on a letter for my MP, just dont want to send it too early incase I miss things out etc!0 -
I agree, until the NRP claims he lives off her earnings - then some kind of evidence should be provided to that effect.
I do think the evidence should be confidential though - not something the PWC should be privy to.
If the NRP doesn't claim to live off the NRPP then I totally agree

And if he does in fact live off of her earnings?
Also how do you find out how much someone owes on their mortgage, surely this if disclosed is a data protection issue?:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0 -

Good luck, as I understand it once it's in criminal compliance you just have to sit tight and wait
With his flat then for £4 you can buy a copy of the title register. This should give you then name of the person the flat is registered to, how much they paid for it and if who the mortgage lender is.
http://www.landregistry.gov.uk/wps/portal/Property_Search
For his cars - you should be able to use http://www.parkers.co.uk/cars/used-prices/# if you have any details of what they are.
You would think that the CSA could access way more than this and that would be enough to ask him where exactly he is getting his money from

If he does live off her earning then fair enough - I have a friend who's ex husband is a house husband and pays not one penny to his three children, there's not a thing the PWC can do about it.
I think once you're part of the Tribunal process then it's a legal process and you are expected to provide information yourself (thereby circumventing data protection). If you choose not to then adverse inference may be drawn.
For me it's about proving what you've claimed. If you make a claim then really you should back that up - so if you are a PWC who claims the NRP is a millionaire, it is not enough to say 'because I think so', you should be expected to back up those claims - the same if the NRP claims to live off of someone else.
Like I said though, I think these things should be privy only to the CSA or a Tribunal and they then rule - I don't think the PWC should have someone else's financial information.

I didnt know about the title register, thanks very much for that!!! Will look into that!
I know all about his cars and how much they cost etc! But he registers them in his mums name at her house so no way of proving they are hisEven though his private plate has his name on it and its always outside his house
Sorry for taking over the OP's post! Sou, u have been an amazing help! Thank u!!0 -

I hope he hasn't registered his car insurance as his mum as the main driver too - that could invalidate it

I think it is wrong to live off the nrpp to play the system. Fair enough if they have lost their job or something but then surely you would sign on?
I agree that the CSA being as powerful as they are should be able to access dvla records, land registry etc. Not that I think the pwc should be told but the csa could then see what you owned and if it was inconsistent they could make an assessment which would be harsher than what they should be assessed at for lying;):rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0 -

If it is in her name and he has an accident etc he would only have to say he was using it as he could be a named driver so unless he was found out (which would be really hard) then he has obviously been quite clever with what he has done. Clever in a smartar5e way not a nice way:mad::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0 -

He has insured it as he is the main driver Im sure. As he did have an accident in his last car and got it repaired. I dont think it matters if you are the registered keeper or not. Insurance does ask you if you are the owner on the V5 or not. I dont know much about that side, all I know is he isnt on the V5, and as he is sneaky in everything he does as he knows how to "work the system" as you would call it so he doesnt have to give me a penny.0 -

Then quite simply he is a 5cum8ag!!
I would search on google there is a webpage that you can find out for free who is the registered owner of an address (brain is blank at moment:rolleyes:). Then print that out for your file. I think it would matter not being the registered keeper of a car you are insured on if they are using 2 different addresses? (ring dvla for confirmation on that)
Nothing else springs to mind at the moment but if you post anything else he does to avoid payment then i'm sure between alot of the posters on here we could come up with some ideas to catch him out?:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0
