new convert shopping list items

I want to make my own cleaning products and bathroom products

I am compiling a shopping list for my local shop to order in in bulk, and have a few items for the order. He is going to the cash and carry on Thursday 5/8, and again in a fortnight.

I need help in getting a list together, could you please help me. I need recipies and instructions too. ??? ??? ???

So far I have on my list :-/

white vinegar
bicarbinate of soda, (either in kilos or trays)
borax
lemon juice

After this I get stuck.

I feel that if I keep this page updated It will help others to start initially and to pick up ingredients for their shopping lists. Any advice on editing would be appreciated too. As any benefits or cautions for eczema and asthma or other complaints too.

Any suggestions for the trip tomorrow.

I have added that to my list to buy more, though there is a pack under the sink, with napisan, great for washing clothes, especially school shirts.

Essential oils can be used to make the cleaning products smell nicer too.

Thanks for that, I do use citronella on a paper flower hanging in the open doorway to ward off insects, it does work. (I make paper daisy chains, which is why I use them)

I couldnt get Borax, and got bicarbinate of soda, and wonder if it is the same thing as baking soda, if not what is the british version of baking soda?

The September issue of Prima has a 4 page spread on kitchen cupboard cleaning products ie: bicarb; vinegar; soda crystals etc.

You might feel it's worth investing in the magazine so you could draw up your list from there. HTH :)

two drops lavender oil in water for ironing works a treat for clothes to smell nice. rubbing grass stains with half a lemon helps get stains out.
