Hopefully next month the banks will finally be forced to stop lying about this issue and delaying things. Frankly paying back the extorted money is the minimum they should do. They need to act as a useful and responsible part of the economy, not like loan sharks. There ought to be some sort of penalty, targeted at the executives and decision makers, for their wrongdoing and manipulation of the legal system.
