Hi, just looking for a bit of advice.
My husband is considering taking up a new job (with the same company) this will require him to be working away from home most weeks anywhere from one overnight stay to a full Mon-Fri stay.
Hotel bills are picked up by the company directly and on occasion would be paid with a company credit card.
This is all new to us so the question is what is the tax liability on these expenses???
We need to consider the implications of this to weigh it up against the salary increase.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.0 -

Talk to the company - it's clearly something they're familiar with. If they stay in guidelines and have a dispensation with HMRC there shouldn't be anything going down as a benefit on P11D.If you want to test the depth of the water .........don't use both feet !0
