I'm rather disappointed that you guys think I'm advertising for this company, so I'd like to address your comments one at a time, to clear things up:
"6 posts in total, 3 for this place, your shop maybe?? "
...I only signed up to the forums the day I posted the note. I will be continuing to add more messages to the online forum as I find the time, but I thought this was a good bargain so should share it with you...
· The first post was the one you see above.
· The second was putting EXACTLY the same post into the coupons section, as i realised later that there was a special area for coupon codes.
· The third post was a quick add, as I'd found another post about sunglasses.
"if it is his shop he must have been so desperate for sales he bought stuff off himself."
... Exactly.
"He says he bought off ebay and left + feedback. There is a ebay seller called ApolloEyewear but they have 0 feedback..."
That's because the user id wasn't apolloeyewear... The item in question was 6889108996
I would like to say I think it's sad that you feel you have to go to the length to search ebay for a user id. I wish I had that sort of time!
They seem to range in price between about £30 and £70, which strikes me as a ridiculous amount to pay for sunglasses.
the frames I bought were Guess (off ebay) and Gant from the website, which are designer label... you can see the RRPs on the website to tell you how much they would be normally. I thought they were a good deal - especially as I got the 15% off voucher following my ebay order.
I like the line " i was expecting them to be cheap fakes"....well why would anyone buy them if that is what they thought?
I bought the original (guess?) pair off of ebay, and as we all know you can sometimes be ripped off with fakes on ebay. I wasn't on the occasion, so that's why I went back and bought a pair for my brothers birthday!
I'm disappointed that some of you find the need assasinate my character in this way. I didn't think that this community would be like that, especially after looking through other posts.
If you feel that this is advertising, then please feel free to write to the forum moderators, and ask them to remove it. It's no skin off of my nose. I just wanted you to know about a good deal I got that's all.0 -
Good reply. Please don't take offence, it's just that we get so many people making their first post on here linking to 'this great new site I've just stumbled across' etc etc that we can get a bit cynical sometimes, I suppose. Especially when 50% of their posts mention the site. I still think to pay £34 for a pair of glasses you think are possibly fake is a little strange, but each to their own.....I spelt my username wrongly on purpose, by the way!0

Thanks. On your last point - Many moons ago, I bought a pair of designer trainers (nike i think) from someone on ebay, paid £30 for them (RRP about £80). They had 100% feedback, so i thought i'd be pretty safe. They turned out to be immitations you can buy off a market.
i suppose people have different different views on how much of a risk to take when bidding amounts like this, when buying off ebay. I 've had some good buys off ebay since tho, and i feel that ebay/paypal have been making it easier to resovle disputes - not that I've had many!
I DID get my money back ... and they no longer have their 100% feedback...0
