UPDATE 12 June 11 am. All the free copies of Moneywise have now gone.
What is it?
Moneywise magazine is the largest circulation money monthly in the UK (and it’s got an occasional column by Martin in there too!)
What's this freebie about?
We managed to blag 10,000 free Moneywise copies for MoneySavers; the normal cover price is £4.25. This is a total freebie, i.e., no need to sign up and cancel the direct debit like the normal free magazines thread.
Of course, the main reason Moneywise agrees is it includes details in there of its subscription offers, and hopes MoneySavers are the type of people who'll like and buy/subscribe to the mag.
If you had a Moneywise freebie last time, you can't this time
This isn't the first time we've blagged free copies from Moneywise. If you had a copy in the last six months you won't be allowed one this time as it's (understandably) put a limit of no more than two in any one year.
Please only get it if you'll read it!
And while it's a freebie, if you won't read the magazine or aren't interested in reading it (it's more hardcore money than the consumer finance stuff of this site), please leave copies for those MoneySavers who'll enjoy it.

bagged mine - thanks. I've had 2 of these before. Last months edition was really good. Pitched at a good level and I've passed it on to my father-in-law as he liked it too.
Why do we have to give sensitive personal data to get it e.g. town of birth ? That's a banking security question and it would be very silly to give your actual personal data in that field.

I left that box blank - I only filled in the boxes that had a star against them and still got the message saying I'd receive the mag.
Thanks for the freebie and like others I will pass the magazine on too.
Last time I signed up for this, I found the articles in the magazine to be of very poor quality, and one article about ISAs factually incorrect. (I find their website articles to be of similar quality.)
My letter to the editor about the inaccuracies went unanswered.
