in It's gone, but was it any good?
Just saw this great link:

You get two free PAYG sims, and with a minimum top up of £5.00 you get free internet amongst other goodies. Doesn't say how much the allowance is though. Would love to find out!

    I think they can block your sim if you do, as it's for browsing on your phone only, isn't it?

    £5 x 4 = £20 a year for internet... which seems pretty generous... plus the free texts and standard call time included in that!

    These free sim cards are also available from the 3 shops. I picked one up in Sunderland today and I am testing it out in an old 3G mobile I have to check on signal strength etc. Works good but limited to what I can access as I have no credit on it yet. Also with it being an old phone Skype is not available on it.

    From the 3 website

    Free Internet Use

    Free internet allowance is applied immediately on Top-up and remains valid for 90 days. After 90 days any remaining internet allowance is lost. Subject to an allowance of 150Mb for 90 days. Internet use charged at 30p per Mb once inclusive allowance is used up.

    You'd soon use 150Mb up in a dongle.
    Next year we'll be millionaires!
