I also posted in buying etc, but you lot might be quicker, and being the supportive little group we are keen to point out my inadaquacies with IT awareness by correcting my mistakes
Or PN might be about here.
Anybody able to tell me how I can actually view properties on the Carter Jonas/ DN website?
I do remeber having problems before with DN, but can't remember how I resolved them.
I phoned one of their offices and the agent who answered couldn't tell me and suggested I call another office:rolleyes:
I'm trying to see the farms/land properties....the link provided on a property portal to a property I might be interested in is broken.

Search them is here: http://www.dreweatt-neate.com/buy/farms-land-and-estates/search.aspx#?id=null&pt=buy&xb=0&q=farmsAndEstates&sc=4&nb=0
(this is a !!!!!! website isn't it!)
Does that help?0 -
Hmm no, maybe this is a flash issue?
I've downloaded flash about seventeen thousand times and still this thing tells me I have no flash installed.0 -
Sacrilege!! Buy this for £1million ... and demolish it for flats!!

Should be banned.
The website search function is a Flash driven map. WHile that would seem a great idea because the properties are pins on the map and you click on one and view the details, if your browser doesn't always like Flash then you'll get nothing.
Also, if your PC is a bit dated it can be an issue.
My CPU is going nuts and it's all very slow.
The website has been spec'd by a web designer so it's KEWL! - not very functional. They should have clear emailable links. Idiots.
There is an email a friend function, but you'd have to have the ability to get that far into the site to see it. Idiots.0 -
Yes, this Flash is a right b4st4rdlostinrates wrote: »Hmm no, maybe this is a flash issue?

Can you try Google Chrome or Firefox? My IE is a s0d for Java and Flash, no matter how many times I tell it to install and it is installed.

Actually, this is a fairly new machine, with loads of ''space'' for stuff because its only for me to surf and communicate. (I should be doing otherstuff too but can't get the software you seconded elsewhere to work on it...:o). Its just that I cannot work it
:D
ETA: I am useing firefox: mewbie told me too a while ago and it works for MSEing and most property searches.
I need to get help I guess.

In that case, I could sit here all day and we could try stuff ... but it might be best if you head off to the Tech Forum, with the geekheads. They'll know the top 3 things to try/check that'll fix it quickest.
It's easy for do-gooders to make 100 irrelevant suggestions and ask for checks, which are all time-consuming. One good windows techie will just know.
So I'll end this relationship with: it's not you, it's me.... you can find somebody better.0 -

Thank you anyway then! I'll try that. I just like our little aggro forum the best (apart from elsewhere)Which might after all suggest it is me, I'm weird and hang out with scary aggro people who threaten to do nasty things to each other in PMs:o:D0 -
Try turning off your anti virus and refreshing the site.
If you have an IS suit it could be blocking out of date security certificates.
remember to turn it back on after you leave the site though.0 -
