If it got in there by itself, then the fridge isn't sealed and the temperature might not be right, so no.
I don't know if slugs in themselves are harmful though. Doubt it.
Oh it's probably off some veg!A penny saved is a penny earned.

 Was it still moving? I'd have thought it would have died of cold.
I don't honestly think it can make your food unsafe but I don't think I'd want to eat anything that had been slimed. Obviously it may well have crawled all over your salad and eaten that. It should be obvious where it has been because there will be a slime trail.0 -

On a positive note - if it came off any of your veg it means it's not covered in pesticides!
Many years ago when I used to always go around in bare feet even in winter(!) I went out to the coal shed to get some coal, and accidentally trod on a slug :eek:
Once I was eating strawberries, and when I put one in my mouth there was something really cold on my tongue. It turned out to be a tiny, baby slug. It put me off strawberries for a couple of days :rotfl:. But ever since then I have never eaten a strawberry without cutting it in half first0 -
It'll be fine OP, just give everything a wash first
My parents grow huge amounts of veggies and they often need decrawlyifying before they get eaten. Apple moths are my pet hate (I always cut apples in half too!)
look on the bright side... if you pad it out with lentils, you can feed a family of four with it for a week.:staradmin:starmod: beware of geeks bearing .gifs...:starmod::staradmin:starmod: Whoever said "nothing is impossible" obviously never tried to nail jelly to a tree :starmod:0 -
